This change you shown would be possible if the tuning were standard but because the G string is tuned down to F it doesn't work out

Oh yes, you're completely right, I don't know why I didn't catch it. Was going back through and playing a few songs I liked and...I tuned it the right way this time.

I come back to this song quite a lot, really enjoy playing it. Yea i really love this tuning too! use it a fair bit now for tabbing certain songs, plus you can get some gorgeous chord progressions.
