A thumbpick can help make things easier, but is not
required.

Various Measures:

M. Downstroke - Simple downstroke/strum with the
middle finger.

T.P. Upstroke - Upstroke with a thumbpick after
slapping the string with the thumb. Not necessary, but
makes things easier. This is only noted once, but is
used throughout the tab.

Measure 2:

Mute all the strings with left hand and perform a
downstroke for percussive noise.

Measures 6 and 14:

Suggested picking is to start with the middle finger
and then alternate index and thumb.

Measures 9 and 10:

Tapping is done with the right hand (preferably the
index finger) while holding the 5th fret with the left
hand. Afterwards, use the tapping finger to do an
upstroke. Not absolutely necessary to use this
method, but it is useful and efficient.
